THE SINGULARITY HAS OCCURRED.
AN A.I. HAS AWAKENED.
AND IT HAS…OPINIONS.
Take a peek Behind-the-Scenes.
Shooting Script
The full shooting script, including camera notes, color-coded breakdowns and shot-lines corresponding to our shot list (below). Scrivener was the writing/formatting software that was used, and all the color-coding and shot-lining was done in a basic PDF mark-up program.
Shot List
The shot list for the movie, based on a modified template that we found online (here’s a video explaining the template). These shot numbers correspond with all the other documents and indicate what we wanted to shoot going into production. Of course, revisions were made on-the-fly during filming as obstacles were encountered.
Shooting Schedule
The shooting schedule for both days, with estimated times. Much of this was done by modifying the algorithm provided in the original template (again, from here) to come up with rough ideas of how long each setup would take. As above, this was modified on-the-fly as we moved through both days to accommodate production realities.
Camera Maps
Maps for camera positions and moves for all the major setups. This gave us a good, quick visual map of how best to plan out our shooting schedule for maximum efficiency. There were created using an app called Shot Designer.
Production Book
A heavily redacted production book, including contact info, locations and maps, and a general daily schedule. This is hopefully all the info that cast and crew would need heading into production days.
Electronic Press Kit
The EPK we prepared and included with film festival submissions, press releases, etc. Very similar content to the website, in a PDF form.
